Saturday's Garden

tomato, pepper, butternut and peas

pumpkin

wee baby broccoli
My camera is still on the fritz, so these are pictures I took before it went the way of the dodo's. Everything is a wee bit bigger. The tomato and pepper plants I bought at a plant sale at the Whole Foods down the street from us  last week. I am not sure how they will do, it is still so hot here and they seem a bit stressed, fingers crossed they hold up and we might have some fruits in a couple months.
More then the tomatoes and peppers, I am really excited/pleased with how the seeds we planted are doing. Almost everything is popping up. We even have wee, tiny carrot hairs, but they are too small to photograph. It would be really cool if we actually got a pumpkin or two. Home grown pumpkin in homemade pumpkin pie for Christmas would be amazing.

Good luck with your garden! It has been hot here in California, so our fall garden is not doing great. Most of our beets and chard disappeared! Today was cooler, so fingers crossed that the greens and root veggies will do well. Thanks for visiting our blog and entering the giveaway! :)
